I’m so blessed that you’ve stopped by my little corner! I would love to tell you just a bit about myself.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Jesse. We meet at youth group when I was a freshman, it took awhile but I finally asked him on a date. Practically everyone thought we were too young to get married right after I graduated, but 15 years later there are still no regrets! He is the best guy around (yes I’m biased) he is the calm to my crazy!
We have been blessed with our 11 year old son Brandon and 7 year old Rachel. Brandon loves sports, video games and is a pretty quiet guy until you get to know him, then watch out for his goofiness. Rachel loves all things girly, singing and is the sunshine of our family. We also have two sweet doggies who we love and spoil daily!
I am currently a mostly stay at home mom, I continue to work part time for an optometrist after working full time there for many years. I owned my own photography business and studio until about two years ago. At that time I felt the Lord calling me deeper into ministry.
At that time I was currently serving as a youth leader in my church and I knew I needed more time to serve in that ministry. After serving for nearly 3 years the Lord showed me that I needed to stop realigning my dream to fit my current situation.
Because 10 years prior he laid a dream on my heart to serve and encourage women. He had lots of lessons for me to learn and for that I’m so thankful for my time in youth ministry and business ownership. But at the beginning of 2015 He reminded me what my dream really was and moved me into consistently blogging, so I began to move beyond the pages of my journal.
I hope to be used by him to encourage other women in their daily lives. To help them see God where they are and inspire them to step out of their comfort zones to do what He is calling them to do. I pray that if you are reading this that it is your desire as well. If your not sure if this is your desire please email me so we can chat about your questions. I may not have all the answers but there is One who does and He is my guidance, rock and can be yours as well. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in hope, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12
